WHY IS SILK SO IMPORTANT IN THIS STORY?

WHY IS SILK SO IMPORTANT IN THIS STORY?

The importance of SILK in this story is a very very deep seeded importance to this story as well as the others i am currently writting because of his dynamics. what exactly does he bring to the story, to the characters.
When i wrote SILK into the story i wanted to show his humanity and compassion for his beloved PAT. But through the eyes of pain and darkness. As you read the story and listens to SILK tell his story you can feel everything this novel is about. The very traumatic circumstances that caused SILK to become who he became is the very same experiences that helped him find himself and  look at himself and learn who and what type of man He trully is. The uniqueness of his personality  became more evident to him as he made concious decisions to avenge his dear friend, yet nurture her with love and more inportantly patience he knew she was missing from her life. THE SUN OF SILK picks up years into the future of their first meeting. But what the readers of THE SUN OF SILK  will not learn from this chapter is what happened personally to PAT after, SILK decided to go on his own and establised his empire. how her life evolved during that time. and exactly what type of person did she (PAT) become during his time away or atleast in the distance.
Which brings us to the SECOND BOOK IN THIS SERIES. (THE SUN OF SILK: DIAMOND AND THE ROUGH) this second chapter is solely introducing you the reader to 3 key characters. the main 2  are PAT  and GLORIA. SILK'S beloved ( PAT ) AND his sister (GLORIA)  as well as SILK again making more appearences in this up and coming issue but not as a leading character but more of a supporting cast again as in THE SUN OF SILK.
WHY?  The reason for this is SILK is a leading man and his story must be told to it's fulliest degree. but the role he plays in the lives of these characters are very important to them as well as their existance. His undying devotion to his family is his motivation and i believe is the lesson that transcends into his business practices. as you will learn in  THE SUN OF SILK.
